BS4449 Steel Reinforcement Rebar
BS4449 is yet another deformed steel bar standard. It is also differentiated as per European standards. When it comes to manufacturing, the steel bars falling in this standard are also hot rolled, which means that they are also used for general purposes, i.e. in common construction projects.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Rebar is a common kind of steel in construction engineering, which is mainly used to strengthen concrete structures and improve the bearing capacity and seismic performance of buildings. The yield strength of B500 rebar reaches 500MPa, with high tensile strength and compressive strength. While meeting the strength requirements, B500 steel bar has good ductility and toughness, which can ensure that the building has good plastic deformation and energy dissipation capacity during the stress process. Lastly, compared with traditional steel bars, the high strength of B500 rebars allows buildings to reduce the use of steel bars, reduce construction costs, and reduce environmental impact.
