Carbon Steel Plate
Carbon steel is an alloy primarily composed of iron and carbon, with carbon content ranging from 0.12% to 2.1% by weight. It is one of the most widely used and versatile metallic materials due to its high strength, durability, relatively low cost, and suitability for various manufacturing processes. Carbon steels find extensive applications in construction, machinery, automotive components, tools, and countless other industrial and consumer products where their mechanical properties like hardness, tensile strength, and wear resistance are valued.
Used in a wide range of applications from automotive to signage to household appliances, carbon steel sheet is available in galvanized, weathering, and hot-rolled steel sheet products. At Online Metals, we carry carbon steel sheet/plate in A36, A606/A588A weathering steel, A653 galvanized steel sheet, A653-A924 Galvanneal, AZ55 Galvalume, A1008, 1075 & 1095. Most of our carbon steel plate stock is available in full-size and custom-cut lengths.
